Preserving Faith. Equipping Leaders. Inspiring Voices.

Our work is built around three connected pillars: documenting the story of Christianity in Iran, equipping communities to engage with Persian-speaking communities, and inspiring a new generation to understand, share and advocate for faith and religious freedom.

DOCUMENT

Research & Multimedia

Christianity in Iran has undergone a remarkable transformation over recent decades, and its story is still unfolding.

Our first priority is to document the modern Christian revival while those who witnessed and shaped its history are still able to tell their stories firsthand. Through interviews, oral histories, films, long-form documentaries, written research and publications, we are building a lasting record of this extraordinary chapter of Christian history.

Beginning with the past 50 years, our research will ultimately reach further back into the rich and ancient history of Christianity in Iran, bringing together these stories through multimedia projects and future publications.

EQUIP

Training & Resources

Understanding people begins with understanding their culture, history and worldview.

We develop practical resources and training to help churches, leaders and communities better understand and engage with Persian-speaking communities. From Persian culture and identity to questions of faith and Christianity, our aim is to give communities the knowledge and confidence to build meaningful relationships.

Our resources also help address important differences in religious understanding. For example, helping explain the Christian understanding of Jesus within a context where many may first have encountered Jesus through Islam.

Cultural Training
Understanding Persian culture, identity and community.

Faith Resources
Accessible resources addressing Christianity within a Persian-speaking context.

Church Training
Practical training for churches and leaders engaging Persian-speaking communities.

INSPIRE

Awareness, Advocacy & Fellowships

The story we document is a story that deserves to be heard.

Through churches, conferences, events, public engagements and advocacy, we share the research and stories emerging from our work. Raising awareness of Christianity in Iran and the extraordinary faith of those choosing to follow Christ despite significant restrictions on religious freedom.

But awareness should lead to action. Through advocacy and our fellowship programme, we aim to develop a new generation of informed voices who understand Iran’s Christian history, value religious freedom and are equipped to speak with knowledge, courage and conviction.

Speaking & Advocacy

We bring our research beyond the archive through public speaking, church engagement, conferences and public events. We will be sharing the story of Iran’s Christian revival, raising awareness of religious freedom and encouraging others through the remarkable stories we uncover.

Developing the next generation of advocates.

The Faithful Hands Fellowship will bring together emerging leaders with an interest in faith, human rights, politics, advocacy and religious freedom.

Through an intensive in-person programme, Fellows will explore the history of Christianity in Iran, the modern revival, religious freedom and human rights, while developing practical skills in advocacy and public engagement.

The Fellowship will particularly seek to reconnect younger generations of the Iranian diaspora with this remarkable story, while remaining open to others who share a commitment to becoming informed and courageous advocates for faith and freedom.
